New biogas compressor of Andreas Hofer Hochdrucktechnik
Once again Andreas Hofer Hochdrucktechnik GmbH proves its technological superiority in compressor construction by providing already today a compressor for the increasing demand in reliable and powerful biogas compressors.
| The new Hofer biogas compressor |
Foreseeing the demand for a robust biogas compressor for feed-in stations into public supply grids, the development of a compressor specifically designed for biogas stations was begun in due time. The result of this research and development effort is now available on the market.
Andreas Hofer Hochdrucktechnik presents the first Hofer compressor for biogas.
The new development is based on the reliable compressor design of the "TK line". The dry-running piston compressors have been notably modified for the specific requirements for the operation in biogas feed-in stations.
This new compressor is technically tight. The usual losses at piston compressors via the piston rings and packing with the corresponding loss of gas into the environment have been eliminated with this Hofer compressor. Leakages are collected internally, channeled into the pressure resistant crankcase, and led back into the suction line.
Today, we offer a compressor for biogas stations with a suction capacity of 500-1000 Nm³/h* and discharge pressures up to 75 bar. For the initial market introduction the pressure resistant housing of the biogas compressor was designed for suction pressures of 7 bar.
The first compressors will be delivered to a biogas feed-in station in a few months.
