Optimized oilflow in the diaphragm head
New design of the oil distribution cone in the diaphragm head!
Advantages:
- Increased lifespan of diaphragms!
No local increased bending stress in the diaphragms due to the prevention of gas accumulations, thus longer life span of the diaphragms and consequently, increased availability of the machines. - No mechanical wear parts!
- Increased efficiency due to almost 100% utilization of the geometrical working space (volume swept by the diaphragm)
The new design of the oil distribution cone is a result of a joint research project with the technical academy "Fachhochschule Niederrhein" (Krefeld, Germany) and shows the technical leadership of HOFER in the field of diaphragm compressors.
The oil flow dynamic has been simulated by using a Finite Volume Model.
